WW - Universal Genève Aero-Compax chronograph, ref 22414, manual wind, 37mm x 44mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original stainless steel snap back case with rectangular pushers, second crown at 9 for memento time, vintage brown leather strap, original silvered dial with black painted indices, tachymeter scale along perimeter in blue, four inset subregisters for minute recording, hour recording, subsidiary seconds and memento time, 17J cal 285, s#752150, triple signed. An unusual watch with an interesting complication not seen regularly; the second crown allows you to set a second time to record an event such as the start of a movie or dinner; this dial does not move and is only to keep track of a static time.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, chronograph functions and resets properly, fine-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, light oxide to steelwork, very light fine scratches to plates; fine dial with even surface spotting as well as several fine scratches and loss of printed details; excellent blued steel hands show light oxide; polished case shows light wear, light dings and pitting to backs of lugs and case back, back of top-left lug has small hole worn through; memento crown and winding crown show light wear, small dings on edge of memento crown; good plastic crystal.
